Before sending the request

  • Download and open RustDesk.
  • Locate your ID and the displayed password.
  • Send the request only when you are at the PC and ready to start.

RustDesk is the tool used to let the PC Lilas technician assist you on your computer, with your consent.

In most cases, you only need to download the file and then open it. Installation is usually not required to start the session.

Step 1 - Download the tool

  1. Click Download the support tool.
  2. Check that the assistance-pc.exe file appears in your downloads.
  3. Open the downloaded file.

Step 2 - Open RustDesk and share your credentials

  1. Launch RustDesk.
  2. Locate Your ID and the one-time password.
  3. Share this information with the PC Lilas technician.
  4. If the password changes, update it before sending the request.

Best practices during the session

  • Stay in front of the PC during the intervention.
  • Never share your banking information.
  • If in doubt, close RustDesk and contact the workshop.

The anti-scam warning displayed by RustDesk is normal. Continue only if the intervention was actually requested from PC Lilas.
